Red lips with pinkish clothing?

I know that some of yous ladies are bound to know this 1: are scarlet lips and nails taboo with pink vesture? [huh]

I don't wear a lot of pinkish, but I've got an outfit on the way that is pinkish and white gingham, and I'g wondering how bad it would be to just wear it with my usual nail polish and lipstick. Since so many of our (or at least my) reference photos are black and white, I really don't know what to do.

Personally, I don't think it looks weird or ultra-clashy (and I'll probably just practice it no matter what you lot all say, because I'm lazy lol), simply I'm still curious: did women of the 1930s and 40s wear red lipstick and nail smoothen when their outfit contained a decent corporeality of pink?

Neither coral pinks nor warm, orangey reds look adept on me, and so I'm in the clear.

I do call up you can use it together. I am not sure, but maybe match the undertones (warm red lipstick, warm pink etc.)

Personally I observe goose egg wrong with ruby lips and pinkish wearable. I think information technology looks sugariness when washed properly.

Merely it's not a no-no in my book! In fact, I call back the two colors can compliment each other if you get information technology right and that'due south going to be very individual based on what suits you. I often wear pink dress and I oftentimes wear reddish lips and nails. so they're ofttimes together! I'm unwilling to alter nailpolish more than than in one case a calendar week. The rest is bear on up work.

Fx. I'll wearable bright pinkish/hot pink top and coral carmine or Gosh Lambada 60 cherry-red lips and nails with it. None of my reds are blue-reds simply I probably wouldn't wear my reds with softer shades of pink dress not that I own any. Hmm...almost of my reds are pink reds or warmer reds with a slight yellow/orange/coral undertone or they're closer to magenta and wine and my pinks are shut to fuschia. I like the contrast of fuschia and bright red. I wore coral pink with the Lambada cerise yesterday. That worked if you ask me!

I do this al the time, I take a lot of pink clothing and I but have cherry lipstick and i never go out without red lips.

i even have orange ruby pilus, but I don't mind
